A Mountain View
Students will learn how a LANDSCAPE is defined by a HORIZON LINE. They will be introduced to the grounds of a LANDSCAPE - FOREGROUND, MIDDLE GROUND and BACKGROUND, as well as the ways artists can convey this DEPTH or DISTANCE in 2D art. Students will also study Color Theory in regard to TINTS and SHADES. They will practive creating TINTS and SHADES and apply their skills and knowledge in the creation of a mountain LANDSCAPE, inspired by our own Blue Ridge Mountains!
